NETWORK / SECURITY ANALYST
This is a Network / Security Analyst position that will focus on audit readiness, general security best practices, system monitoring, and automation of alerting/remediation for critical events. Candidates must fully understand vulnerability and compliance management. Functions will include evaluating business processes, servers and network equipment for vulnerabilities and PCI compliance requirements to manage initiatives and mitigate issues with equipment as well as generating reports on changes made to the production environment and any suspicious security related events. Ideal candidates will be self starters who have the ability to manage their time and projects while driving initiatives forward to meet deadlines. A sound understanding of Microsoft servers, Microsoft GPO, AIX, CentOS, Change Management, Monitoring, and general network equipment is needed to perform the required functions.
Required Experience:
· Strong understanding of Microsoft Server Technologies.
· General knowledge of network technologies.
· Strong knowledge of system vulnerability management.
· Strong knowledge of systems monitoring.
· General UNIX/LINUX knowledge.
· Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
· Strong organizational and communication skills.
· Understanding of network concepts.
· Some project management skills
· Strong process automation skills
· Strong knowledge of IDS/IPS technologies
Required Skills: VMware, SNMP, VB Scripting, IIS, TCP/IP, AIX, CentOS, Windows 2003 Server, Event Log Management
Additional Skills Desired: Tripwire, Zabbix Monitoring, Citrix Presentation Server, Snort IDS, Nessus, MySQL, CISSP
DEVELOPER
The ideal candidate should posses the following minimum requirements:
- Expert knowledge of Object-Oriented programming. Very strong understanding of ASP.NET with C# concepts including:
- ASP.NET page life cycle
- Object inheritance
- User controls
- Interfaces and abstract classes
- Role-based security model
- Creating custom Web Services
- Expert knowledge of the Microsoft .NET Framework.
- At least 3 years of SQL Server experience (2000 and 2005) including a very strong understanding of:
- Stored procedures
- Views
- User defined functions
- Query optimization
- DTS
- Working knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML and XSLT.
- The ideal candidate should be a self-starter, capable of independent work with high levels of responsibility.
- The ideal candidate must be willing to work within the SDLC and department coding standards.
- The ideal candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
These skills would be a plus.
- Solid experience with AJAX (or more specifically, ASP.NET AJAX).
- Strong background in server-side scripting languages (specifically PHP).
- Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 (specifically C# 3.0, and LINQ).
- Advanced knowledge of SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and/or DTS.
- VB6 experience.
- Strong VB.NET experience.
- WinForms development experience.
