Continuity of Business/Disaster Recovery Plan
 

What is a Disaster? Any significant event that results in the inability of an organization to perform critical business functions for an extended period of time. Examples of a disaster could include, but are not limited to, terrorist attacks, hurricanes, fires, bomb threats, earthquakes, tornadoes, public transportation strikes, IT disruptions and cyber-threats.

In the event of a natural disaster or other unforeseen tragic event, our clients are assured that the information we have and hold on their behalf is protected and stored in a safe and secure manner.

Our Commitment

Client Services, Inc. takes its fiduciary responsibility seriously with regard to information in our possession and control. We are committed to safeguarding the interests of our clients and customers in the event of an emergency or significant business disruption. Our comprehensive business continuity strategy is designed to enable Client Services, Inc. to meet its existing obligations to its clients and customers in the event of an emergency by:

  • Safeguarding employee lives and company property
  • Making a financial and operational assessment
  • Quickly recovering and resuming operations
  • Protecting files and records, and;
  • Allowing customers to transact business

Our systems, hardware and software are constantly monitored for virus attacks, corruption of data, and any other potential threat to our data. In addition we have initiated a fully integrated back up and off-site data storage and retrieval system. This system is designed to maintain the integrity of all information contained in our files, along with the day-to-day operations of our business.

The Business Continuity Plan (BCP) has been developed and approved by management for Client Services, Inc.’s facilities and production IT systems and applications. The plan resides in a common, best-of-breed database and is routinely reviewed and updated by the Risk Management and IT departments.

The Business Continuity Plan and Disaster Recovery Plan are subject to change, and material changes will be updated promptly.
