Client Services, Inc. (CSI) believes that maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of an individual’s personal information is important, and provides the following privacy policy (the “Privacy Policy”) in order to demonstrate its firm commitment to privacy. CSI may need to change this Privacy Policy from time to time in order to address new issues and to reflect changes on its site. Please refer back to this Privacy Policy regularly because your use of the site signifies that you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy, as amended from time to time. This policy applies solely to information collected by www.clientservices.com, and does not apply to any other CSI websites or offline activities.

A consumer has the right to request that CSI disclose the following:

  • The categories of personal information CSI collects;
  • The categories of sources from which the personal information is collected;
  • The purpose for collecting the personal information;
  • The categories of third parties with whom the business shares personal information; and
  • The specific pieces of personal information CSI has collected, disclosed or sold.  Such a request can be made to CSI at www.clientservices.com/consumer-center/contact-us/. Once CSI receives your request, it will compare the information you provided with the information it already has. If they can verify that the request came from you, it will provide the required information. CSI will match 2-3 identifying personal information data points to verify that the request came from you and notify you if it cannot verify that the request came from you.

A user may visit the CSI website without disclosing any personal information about themselves. CSI collects personal information that a user submits voluntarily through the forms on its site (ex. a user makes a payment or requests information). The information collected includes, but is not limited to, a user’s name, mailing address, telephone number, and e-mail address.

CSI does not sell a user’s personal information to third parties, or share personal information with affiliates or third parties of the affiliates. CSI may share a user’s information with clients that maintain ownership of a user’s deficiency account(s). CSI will utilize a user’s information to communicate with them. In order to provide services for its site users, CSI may utilize trusted service providers, and share the site user’s personal information as necessary. CSI uses third parties to process web or IVR payments, and they are not authorized to use that information except as necessary to perform services on CSI’s behalf or comply with legal requirements.

CSI may disclose a user’s personal information if they believe it is necessary to (a) comply with relevant laws or to respond to subpoenas or warrants served on CSI; or (b) protect and defend CSI’s rights, property, or its website users.

CSI reserves the right to transfer any user information in the event that all or part of CSI or its assets are acquired by, merged with, sold to, or otherwise disposed of to one or more third parties (including, without limitation, in the event of bankruptcy).

CSI may use third-party website analytics tools to collect information regarding visitor traffic on its sites and mobile applications.

The California Consumer Privacy Act provides for the right for consumers to request the deletion of their information, subject to various exceptions. A request can be made to CSI at www.clientservices.com/consumer-center/contact-us/. Once CSI receives your request, it will compare the information you provided with the information it already has. If CSI can verify that the request came from you, it will provide the required information. CSI will match 2-3 identifying personal information data points to verify that the request came from you and notify you if it cannot verify that the request came from you.

The California Consumer Privacy Act also provides for the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. CSI does not sell personal information.

The consumer has a right not to receive discriminatory treatment by CSI for the exercise of the privacy rights conferred by the California Consumer Privacy Act.

A consumer can designate an authorized agent to make a request under the California Consumer Privacy Act. The consumer must provide either a power of attorney or written authorization.
